Trying a New Size on for, er, Size

So, I had such a great time with the bookmark swap that I joined a valentine’s ATC swap as well.  No, I’m not going to show you those today.  (I’m not sure whether I’m allowed to show preswap pictures – I’ll check on that and get back to you.)  But I did do up an extra ATC (ATC stands for Artist Trading Card) with the watercolor/salt background and tangled it because I was just having so much fun. Ok, well, and I was beyond stressed out over my misbehaving kids and I’d rather tangle than take Xanax.  (Wouldn’t you?  Skip the scrips and...

Rising to the challenge!

A friend and student sent me this response to my challenge today. She flipped and rolled and took the plunge: This is actually, after months of tangling, her first “official” tile! Great work, Stephanie!!

I had a phenomenal time. This was a gathering of CZTs from all around New England. And what wonderful, kind, helpful, collegial, just plain wonderful people they are! Heh heh heh…  Yes, I’m just evil.  Delightful but evil. 😉  I was talking to a friend who was feeling a bit immobilized by what tangle to put where in her tile.  SO….while I’m gone, let’s all keep busy!  We’ll use Linda Farmer’s tangle patterns guide as our inspiration.   (If you don’t have this guide, you should:  for a donation to Linda’s site, she will send you this invaluable pictorial pattern resource PDF.  www.tanglepatterns.com – it’s awesome.) Here’s what you should do! Draw your string on your tile (or...

Tangleable Stuff!

Ok, so I have a boatload of lovely things here to offer as workshops and am actually thinking about one more – for Easter. Would anyone be interested in tangling eggs (not real ones) as Easter decor? In other news, I’m off to Vermont this weekend to recharge with other CZTs and am SO looking forward to it.  There is something absolutely wonderful about being surrounded by all that boundless creative talent!  I’m simultaneously awed, thrilled, and inspired – can’t wait to report about it! In the meantime, I hope you all have a lovely evening! Cheers, K2
