So, I have been seeing a lot of work out there illuminated (if you will) by Tombow marker lately and, honestly, I did not get why people would rave about one brand of marker over another.  I get it now. I had only ever used kid markers, really, and, honestly, there is little, if any, similarity.  I feel a bit silly, really, even calling these markers.  What they are is watercolors in pen form.  There’s a marker-type tip on one end and a brush tip on the other.  Add in a tiny paint brush and a bit of water and boom!  Downside?  Well, they’re not priced like kids’...

Adding Zing to Your Zen

The gray grumblies are chasing me today.  Man, it’s been a gray winter, hasn’t it?   Sigh.  I’m feeling it too.  I’m craving color pretty badly at this point.  Yesterday, that bright blue sky?  Oh, wow.  I wanted to roll around in it, I swear.  Bring on the tulips, daffodils, and crocuses, the snowdrops, hyacinths, and forsythia!
