I don’t wait well.  I never have.  I’m not a person who sits still well and I have less patience than my 4 year old.  Sadly, it seems I’ve been doing a lot of waiting lately.  I don’t know about you but I get a little stressed out waiting.  Problem is, I keep thinking about all I could be doing other than waiting but I can’t do because I’m waiting… and waiting… and waiting.  Let’s see, stray time that I can’t do anything else during, stress, Zentangle addict teacher… In the “turn that frown upside down”...

Oh, Mama!

Ok, Mother’s Day is over and I can show her card now! Another thing we did at TangleU was to create “peekaboo” cards under the direction of the incomparable Suzanne MacNeill (CZT and Craftmistress General).  The idea of the peekaboo card is that both “layers” of the card, the cover and the back, have a part of the design in common – there is a window in the front of the card that shows tangles drawn on the inside of the card and the front design also incorporates that bit into the art. “Kelley2, Kelley2, where have you been??”

I’ve been to London to visit the Queen “Kelley2, Kelley2, what did you there?” I tangled a little mouse under a chair… Ok, not really.  But I did go to Portland, Maine, for TangleU – a by-CZTs for CZTs continuing education event that was phenomenal. “Um, Kelley, you’ve been unblogging way before that.” Picky, picky!   But, sadly, true.  It was a winter of viruses for my kids and my “day job” has been both a day job and a night job for the last few months.  I’ve been taking pictures of work, I’ve been storing ideas...
